Why do we upgrade aluminium chargepipe?
Factory charge pipes are made from plastic and are likely to crack over time due to material fatigue, even on stock boost level. It is highly recommended especially if you intend to increase the power of your car.
A blown chargepipe will:
- Trigger drivetrain warning light
- Result in loss of power
- Pose a higher risk as debris will get sucked into the engine
